Billy Beaumont — Artist & Designer

Billy Beaumont’s passion for art began in childhood, drawing favourite cartoon characters from Wacky Races. Over time, his interests evolved towards realism, illustration and design, developing into a lifelong commitment to creativity and artistic expression.

​

At 18, Billy moved to Southampton to pursue his artistic ambitions. He studied at Eastleigh Art Foundation College in Hampshire, gaining high-grade qualifications in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Textiles, Ceramics, Fashion and Photography. He went on to study at Salisbury and Southampton Art Colleges, achieving a Fine Art Degree and a National Diploma in Graphic Design.

Billy spent more than 20 years in the print industry, building extensive experience in traditional print processes and digital design. Today, this blend of technical knowledge and creative expertise informs his work as a full-time artist.

​

Working across a range of artistic disciplines, Billy continually explores new ideas, techniques and approaches. He also shares his knowledge through group art tuition and personalised online sessions.

​

Alongside his artistic practice, Billy serves as a trustee and Artist in Residence with the Friends of Lydiard Park, combining his creative experience with a commitment to the local community and the appreciation of this historic landscape.

Featured in the First Edition of the International Directory of Contemporary Modern Artists, Billy continues to exhibit locally while reaching an international audience. His paintings are held in private collections across the UK, France, Argentina, Mexico, the United States, Canada, Romania, Spain, Australia, Germany, New Zealand and Greece.

Driven by a lifelong curiosity and a passion for visual expression, Billy continues to develop his distinctive artistic style, bringing together experience, experimentation and a deep-rooted love of art.
